John Cena finally faced off against the Big Red Machine Kane at WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday night, and the match started off as everyone expected it would.

It was a brawl, just the way John likes it.

It’s no secret that Cena’s style is that of a street fighter, a worker who is not of the technical background it takes to consistently turn in a 5-star match. The fact is, John performed in this match the way he does nearly every time he’s in the ring.

He came out with guns blazing, and he did not back down from the fight.

The fact that Kane received some support from the St. Louis crowd is not surprising, though, it is a bit disappointing. After all, WWE creative has gone out of its way to encourage fans to hate everything about Kane, constantly putting him over as a monstrous heel.

Patricia Anne Stratigias born December 18, 1975), better known by her ring name Trish Stratus, is a Canadian professional wrestler, actress and television personality currently signed with WWE. She is also a former fitness model.
After beginning her career as a fitness model, Stratus began working for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), which was later renamed World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Early in her career, she was involved in sexually themed storylines, such as managing the team T & A and an affair with Vince McMahon. As Stratus spent more time in the ring, her wrestling skills and popularity strengthened. Because of this, she was a one-time WWE Hardcore Champion, three-time "WWE Babe of the Year" and was proclaimed "Diva of the Decade". After nearly seven years in the business, Stratus retired from professional wrestling at WWE Unforgiven on September 17, 2006 after winning her seventh WWE Women's Championship, the most in WWE history. Stratus is an eight time champion overall.

David Michael Batista was born on January 18, 1969. He is a former bouncer that met Curt Hennig and Road Warrior Animal in Minneapolis. He went to the WCW Power Plant for a tryout, and in another bad decision, WCW decided that he would never make it as a wrestler. He was trained by Wild Samoan Afa and made his wrestling debut in 1997. Batista started off his career working for Afa's WXW promotion under the name Kahn. Shortly after, he signed a WWE developmental deal and wrestled in Ohio Valley Wrestling. While there, he was known as Leviathan and Demon of the Deep. He would debut for WWE in May 2002.

Diva Maryse Bio and Pics 2011

Maryse started out as a beauty pageant contestant and won the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada in 2003 and finished second in the international finals. She then appeared on magazines and some television in Canada and ended up becoming a glamour model. In the summertime of 2006 Maryse entered the WWE diva contest. She was eliminated early, coming in 7th place but was still invited by the WWE to their training facility. In August of 2006 she was given a WWE development contract and was active in Ohio Valley Wrestling. At the beginning of 2007 WWE fans would start seeing Maryse welcoming viewers back to the show after commercial breaks both in English and French. Starting in February of 2008 we started seeing a bit more of Maryse as she made a backstage appearance with Teddy Long. Then in March of 2008 she competed in a SMACKDOWN diva contest against Michelle McCool, Cherry, Eve Torres and Victoria. Unfortunately, she was the first one eliminated. On the March 28, 2008 Smackdown we got to see Maryse team up with Victoria in a "Wet and Wild" match against Michelle McCool and Cherry, her team lost. Maryse would then become good friends with Deuce and Domino. Deuce and Domino then dumped Cherry for Maryse. We got to see Maryse in some ring action on the May 16, 2008 edition of Smackdown as she battled Cherry in a losing effort. Maryse would then week after week team up with Natalya and Victoria and battle Michelle McCool, Cherry and Kelly Kelly.

On September 7, 2008 at Unforgiven Maryse would get her first title shot as she went up against Michelle McCool for the Divas championship. She was unsuccessful in her attempt though as McCool retained her title.

On November 23, 2008 at Survivor Series Maryse would be part of the Smackdown Diva team that would battle the Raw Diva team. Maryse teamed up with Victoria, Natalya, Maria and Michelle McCool. Maryse and McCool had a hard time getting along during the match and even ended up in a shoving match with each other. Some of the Raw Divas had a hard time getting along too but in the end were able to beat the Smackdown Divas.

On the December 26, 2008 edition of Smackdown, Maryse battled Michelle McCool for the Divas championship with Maria as the special guest referee. Maryse was able to get the pin on McCool and became the new Divas champion.

On December 28, 2008 at a house show in Raleigh, North Carolina, Maryse dislocated her knee in a tag team match against The Bella Twins, when one of the twins initiated a dropkick that landed on her kneecap, it was later announced that the injury was not too serious and that she would be able to return in a few weeks. On the January 23, 2009 episode of SmackDown, Maryse returned in a non-wrestling role and sat at ringside commentating, during a Divas' tag team match. Maryse returned to wrestling on February 20, 2009 in a tag team match with Michelle McCool and defeating Maria and Eve Torres.

Maryse will compete in the Divas Battle Royal on April 5, 2009 at Wrestlemania 25!

The Master Manipulator, the Ultimate Opportunist, the Rated-R Superstar and 11 time World Champion has been so far the most successful wrestler of 2011. and why is that because he has defended his world title successfully at Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and most importantly on the grandest stage of them all, The Wrestlemania.

2.DEL RIO

This man has reached to the top in no time. Making his debut in the mid 2010, the essence of excellence quickly made himself as the prime contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. And in 2011 he gathered great success after he won the biggest Royal Rumble match in the history and main evented Wrestlemania.

3. The MiZ

He is the Miz… and he is awesome. And why not because he successfully defended the WWE championship against dangerous Randy Orton at Royal Rumble and against John Cena at Wrestlemania.

4. Randy Orton

The viper Randy Orton without a doubt is the most dangerous competitor present in the WWE. This 8 pack predator has taken out the whole member of Nexus single handedly and leveled CM punk with a thunderous RKO at the big stage , Wrestlemania.

5. Wade Barrett

The winner of the NXT season 1, the founder of the NEXUS and the leader of the CORRE. Wade Barrett met with great success this year winning the Intercontinental title and taking on the largest athlete in the world, The Big Show.

6. JOHN CENA

He may have lost the Royal Rumble match, but he still manages to make his way to the main event at Wrestlemania after he outlasted 5 man in the unforgiving steel of Elimination Chamber. He also stood toe to toe against the people’s champ The Rock.

7. John Morrison

Undoubtedly the most gifted athlete in WWE. John Morrison has always been at the spot light for his high flying moves. He showed great athleticism in Royal Rumble, fought in the cage of Elimination Chamber like a Spider Man and booked his rightful place at Wrestlemania with his spinning action maneuvers.

8. CM PUNK

The leader of the Straight-edge Society has played his cards very well. He successfully took over the leadership of the powerful Nexus and showed great resilience in Royal Rumble match and Elimination Chamber. And in the last taking on the WWE Viper Randy Orton and incapacitating him weeks after weeks.

9. Sheamus

The Irish born hard hitting heavyweight and 2 time WWE champion had a pretty impressive year so far. He captured the United States title and delivered some heavy blows to Daniel Bryan.

10. Doplh Ziggler

With the help of his valet Vickie Guerrero Doplh Ziggler captured the World Heavyweight Championship and also found his place at Wrestlemania.
